Is there an option that provides more slats or a solid platform for under the mattresses on each bunk?
Answered by Jonah on 2016-06-02 14:46:13
If you choose to add additional weight capacity then you will get additional support slats. If you want to purchase a Bunkie Board you can go to this link https://www.elitedecore.com/item--All-Size-Bunkie-Board-Wolf-CYFS--bunkbd.html

Also, does Make the bottom bed sit on the floor to maximize space mean that the mattress sits directly on the floor with no slats?
Answered by Jonah on 2016-06-22 17:41:42
Yes, you gain a few inches of space if that is important to you. If you choose this options, the mattress will sit right on the floor not on the slats and you will gain additional space.

What is the difference between the heavy duty triple bunk bed for 299 and the premier heavy duty for 349? I see that there shipping prices are different making there final cost about the same and they seem to be made out of the same wood and are the same style so I am unsure on there differences.
Answered by Jonah on 2016-08-01 16:31:29
The heavy duty uses 2x4 for the ladder rungs and safety rail and the premier uses 2x6.

What size mattress allows the 33 in between bunks? How much space would the top bunk have with an 8’ ceiling? What size mattress?
Answered by Jonah on 2019-06-11 14:19:21
You will have 33 in without the mattress. You will have 30 in of clearance from the top slat to your 8 ft. ceiling.

I am looking for a very sturdy triple bunk bed, we have 9 foot ceilings. Can you make a little extra room between the beds since I have a little taller ceiling?
Answered by Jonah on 2020-06-17 08:53:56
Yes, we can make the bed taller but that would add cost to the price of the Bed.

I had to find a way to put 6 boys 10 and under in one room. These two triple bunk beds were perfect. I assembled them easily with the help of my brother. I love that they are unfinished so we can stain or paint them however we like. so far they look just fine unfinished. They are sturdy and functional. The top bunk is a little crammed with my 8.5ft ceilings, but it will work for years to come. I had 4 boards left over. I can not figure out where they would go. Also 2 of my mattress support slats were about 1.5 inches too long. Easy fix. I am very satisfied with the products.
